256 max samples, 16 threads on a ryzen 7 9800x3d. render time: 1 min 46 sec probably shouldve turned up the shadow samples a bit more

Sampling for soft shadows is mostly working! I need to figure out why theres such a large block of uniform shadows, then also figure out the banding issue. ## also need to resolve the backface shadow problem still

Initial render with no soft shadows basically just rendering using project 9 code ## it looks like I might have a shading issue with backfaces that I didnt notice until now.
